
Dr. Syed Mohammad Naqvi
Postgraduate Researcher
Dr. Naqvi is a medical doctor and clinical researcher with a diverse academic and clinical background. He holds a Medical Doctorate (MD) from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and an MSc in Preventive Cardiology (1st Class Honours) from the University of Galway (UoG), Ireland. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Digital Health Interventions at Dundalk Institute of Technology and an MSc in Health Professions Education at the University of Limerick (UL).
Dr. Naqvi has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at international conferences. His accolades include the UoG/NIPC Professor Kieran Daly Gold Medal in Preventative Cardiology and the runner-up award for best poster at the 11th National Prevention Conference. With clinical and research roles across Ireland, the UK, and Iran, he has experience in a wide range of specialities.
In addition, he is passionate about medical education, having supervised MSc theses and contributed to academic mentoring. He was also the class representative for his MSc in Preventive Cardiology at UoG and is currently the class representative for the MSc in Health Professions Education at UL.
