SMILE project featured on Morning Ireland
Three years of research, intensive input, and testing by healthcare professionals, caregivers, and 120 older people with multiple chronic health conditions, is changing even more lives as ProACT is rolled out across Carlow. The SMILE project, funded under Slaintecare and managed by Caredoc uses the ProACT application, developed by researchers at NetwellCASALA working with Trinity College Dublin, imec in Belgium and partners across six countries, to encourage better self-management of chronic health conditions and wellbeing. This is another example of how research from NetwellCASALA at Dundalk IT is making a difference through real-world applications.
